About BluesChronicles

BluesChronicles.com is an independent editorial publication dedicated to the blues — from the Delta and Piedmont roots through Chicago electric, Texas, Hill Country, and today’s contemporary artists pushing the genre forward. We publish in-depth artist profiles, historical features, curated listening guides, and weekly news coverage.

Our mission is simple: document the blues with the depth and respect it deserves.

What We Offer

BluesChronicles provides multiple platforms for artist and label exposure:

Editorial Coverage — Long-form artist profiles (2,000–4,000 words) covering career history, musical style, key recordings, and legacy. Every piece is researched, fact-checked, and written with genuine genre knowledge — not generic music-blog filler.

Artist Interviews — We’re actively building our interview program, offering artists the opportunity to share their stories, creative process, and upcoming projects with a dedicated blues audience.

Radio Exposure — BluesChronicles’ founder and editor, Jess Uribe, hosts a weekly two-hour blues radio show on BlueMusicFan.com Radio, providing an additional channel to feature and promote artists covered on the site.

Credentials

Blues Business Associate — The Blues Foundation (Memphis, TN)
Weekly Radio DJ — Two-hour blues show on BlueMusicFan.com Radio
Active Publication — Consistent editorial output covering both legacy and contemporary blues artists
