Tickets for Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2026 went on sale today, April 3, with general public access beginning at 10:00 a.m. CT through Ticketmaster. The seventh edition of the charity festival lands at Austin’s Moody Center on September 26–27, bringing together one of the most stacked guitar lineups assembled this decade.
Clapton himself performs both nights, joined by a roster that spans generations and genres of guitar mastery. Returning Crossroads veterans include Gary Clark Jr., Buddy Guy, Sonny Landreth, Keb’ Mo’, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, Jimmie Vaughan, Marcus King, Robert Randolph, Billy Gibbons, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The Del McCoury Band rounds out the roots contingent.
First-time Crossroads appearances come from Pete Townshend, Trey Anastasio, Tommy Emmanuel, Julian Lage, John McLaughlin, and Kurt Rosenwinkel — a signal that Clapton is deliberately widening the festival’s stylistic aperture while keeping the blues at its core.
Crossroads Guitar Festival 2026 Lineup Rewards Serious Blues Fans
For blues fans specifically, this lineup delivers. Buddy Guy, now 89, remains one of the last direct links to Chicago’s electric blues golden era — any Crossroads appearance could be among his final major festival sets. Gary Clark Jr. continues to bridge Texas blues tradition with modern production, and Sonny Landreth’s slide work has been a Crossroads staple since the festival’s early Dallas editions. Keb’ Mo’ brings his Delta-rooted songcraft, and Taj Mahal adds the kind of deep Americana credibility that anchors the entire weekend.
Jimmie Vaughan’s presence carries particular weight in Austin, where his brother Stevie Ray helped define the city’s blues identity. Combined with the Tedeschi Trucks Band — arguably the most formidable blues-rock ensemble touring today — the blues quotient runs deep across both nights.
Tickets and Charity Mission
General admission single-day tickets start around $112, with prices scaling up to VIP packages exceeding $1,200. All proceeds benefit the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, the drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility Clapton founded in 1998. The festival has been the Centre’s primary fundraising vehicle since the first Crossroads event in 2004 at Dallas’s Cotton Bowl.
Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster and the official Crossroads Guitar Festival website. Given the caliber of the Crossroads Guitar Festival 2026 lineup and the festival’s history of selling out, blues fans should move fast.
